What's New for the 2020 Dodge Durango?
The Dodge Durango has made a name for itself by being a reliable, powerful, and comfortable three-row SUV. Just last year, several significant upgrades were made. They included standard second-row captain's chairs for the Citadel trim level and available leather seating for the entry-level SXT. For both the Citadel and R/T, an advanced Harmon and Kardon audio system became part of the standard equipment. The trailering package also gained an integrated trailer brake.
For 2020, very few changes were considered necessary for the Durango to be current and fresh. There is a new 20-inch wheel design available on specific models. Additionally, Durango, with the Premium interior package, now has stylish accent stitching on the instrument panel as well as a faux-suede headliner. When the R/T trim level has either the Brass Monkey or Blacktop package, it will now have a HEMI fender badge.
Like before, the 2020 Dodge Durango is available in seven trim levels. The same three powerful engines are available, as well. For most models, a 3.6L V6 that makes 295-horsepower as well as 260 lb-ft of torque lives under the hood. The standard for the R/T, as well as available for the Citadel, is a 5.7L V8 that will generate 360-horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque.
