Jeep continues to tweak offerings for the various trims of the Grand Cherokee line. The standard engine is a V-6 with a 25 mpg EPA rating, but a V-8 is available with several trims. The V-6 engine sports a 6200 lb. towing capacity, while the V-8 features a 7200 lb. towing capacity.

The cabin interior’s look and feel varies on the selected trim; the proprietary Uconnect system is featured in all models alongside Apple’s CarPlay and Android Auto support, with heated front seats, heated steering wheel, cloth bucket seats, leather-trimmed bucket seats, active noise control system, power sunroof, rearview automatic dimming mirror, universal garage door opener, WiFi connectivity, GPS navigation, HD radio, single-disc CD player, SiriusXM Internet Radio, Harman/Kardon audio, and rear-seat entertainment screens are optional extras.

Jeep offers a wide variety of safety features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, parking assistance, forward collision warning, and security alarm. Standard features include a theft-deterrent system, keyless entry, speed control, side airbags, traction control, trailer-sway damping, rain brake support, a rear backup camera, hill start assist, front passenger seat belt alert, enhanced accident response system, electronic stability control, child seat upper tether anchors, and active head restraints.
