 What's New for the 2020 Jeep Renegade?

The Jeep Renegade is a compact SUV that returns in 2020 with more available options and features. The overall style of the vehicle is unchanged from the previous offering. It's still the versatile 4x4 that's refined enough to turn heads on the city and rugged sufficient to rip the backcountry trails. It has two fuel-efficient powertrains - a 1.3 Liter turbocharged engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a 2.4 Liter Tigershark engine.

For 2020, the Renegade's Latitude model trim can be outfitted with the LED lighting group. That puts LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, taillamps, and fog lamps on the Renegade. The Latitude model can now be outfitted with 19-inch wheels. The Latitude model also gets the Advanced Tech Group features. This is a comprehensive suite of safety features such as forward collision warning-plus with mitigation, lane departure warning-plus with lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, ParkSense Parallel/Perpendicular Park Assist with front and rear park sensors, and automatic high-beam headlamps.

The Sport model trim is the base model, but in 2020 it can be equipped with the Advanced Tech Group. When you combine that with the Safety and Security Group, the Sport model is now one of the most well-equipped vehicles on the market. The Safety and Security Group has blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, rain-sensing windshield wipers, security alarm, and tonneau cover.
