What's New for the 2020 RAM 1500?
The RAM has been one of the top-selling trucks in America for years. The RAM competes alongside models like the Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado. For 2020, the RAM 1500 has received a few new features and color options in addition to unique models.
Engine Option
RAM has included a new EcoDiesel engine option for 2020. The new EcoDiesel is a 3.0-liter engine that produces 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. Every model in the RAM 1500 line will be offered with the new engine layout.
Special Editions
The RAM 1500 Rebel is now offered with a special edition package for 2020. The RAM Rebel Black Appearance Group covers the 2020 Rebel in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl paint and gives the Rebel an utterly black appearance. While there are several new exterior colors, such as Hydro Blue and Olive Green, offered for the 2020 RAM 1500, the special edition RAM Rebel Black Appearance Group package will only be provided for the 1500 Rebel trim.
The 2020 RAM 1500 Big Horn and 2020 RAM 1500 Laramie are offered with the Night Edition package. Much like with the RAM Rebel Black Appearance Group for the 1500 Rebel, the Night Edition package covers both the Big Horn and Laramie in numerous black pieces. The 2020 Big Horn will sit on 20-inch wheels when equipped with the Night Edition package, and the 2020 Laramie will sit on larger 22-inch wheels when equipped with the Night Edition package. Chrome accents on both models are replaced with black accents in the 2020 package.

Aside from the new features included with the special edition packages that are offered for the Rebel, Big Horn, and Laramie trims, there are several new safety features offered on the new 1500 line of trucks.
