Its interior is upscale and well-equipped for a compact SUV with a seven-inch infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The Latitude also has a six-speaker sound system. Fog lights and a windshield wiper de-icer system come with the Latitude Plus, which also gains some extra interior features, including heated front seats, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, push-button start, and keyless entry. The Latitude Plus adds some more tech features, including USB ports in the back row.

Meanwhile, the Latitude Lux, new this year, has leather upholstery and a power-adjustable seat for the front passenger. The Trailhawk trim gets a more extensive 8.4-inch infotainment system and an exclusive engine. Topping the Jeep lineup is the Limited, which has larger 18-inch wheels along with memory settings for the driver's seat, a power liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium sound system with nine speakers. The top trim also has more safety features, including adaptive cruise control to help keep a safe following distance from the car ahead.

The Jeep Cherokee is available with several engines. The first engine is a 2.4L with four cylinders that have a total power output of 180 HP. The Jeep Cherokee's base engine can deliver 171 LB-FT of torque. It comes with a nine-speed transmission. There are two additional engines offered with the Latitude Lux, including a 3.5L with six cylinders and a power output of 271 HP. You can also get a turbo 2.0L engine with a power rating of 270 HP.
