In 2022, the RAM 1500 is available in seven trims, including the Tradesman, the Big Horn, the Rebel, the Laramie, the Longhorn, the Limited, and the TRX. The Big Horn is a great option to consider as a well-equipped trim with solid performance capabilities. For 2022, the primary update introduced to the RAM 1500 Big Horn is the new UConnect 5 infotainment system. In Texas, the RAM 1500 Big Horn is known as the RAM 1500 Lone Star and features special badging.
This trim level continues to be offered with short and long bed layouts. They also have both a quad cab and a crew cab option. The overall design of the RAM 1500 across all trims is unchanged. It boasts recognizable contouring over a sculpted hood and tall yet sleek dimensions. The nose is subtly curved while maintaining its confident height. The grille points outward to draw attention to the headlights. These are capped and underscored with thick LED bars. This trim level comes explicitly with chrome bumpers, 18-inch aluminum wheels, foglights, and heated side mirrors.
