 What's New for the 2023 Dodge Hornet?

Dodge’s impressive lineup is expanding for the 2023 model year. The all-new Hornet is a subcompact crossover SUV with exciting performance capabilities, head-turning style, and a great selection of modern features. It is introduced exclusively in the GT trim, and the R/T version will be available later in 2023. The GT has a 268-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, Hurricane4 engine. Its powertrain also includes all-wheel drive and nine-speed auto transmission. The GT only takes 6.5 seconds to get up to 60 miles per hour. The upcoming Hornet R/T will benefit from 288 net horsepower, which will come from a PHEV four-cylinder, 1.3-liter turbo engine. This system will also have an auto transmission with an all-wheel drive.

The 2023 Dodge Hornet grows even more appealing when you slide into its spacious, five-passenger cabin. The contemporary dashboard design shows off a pair of digital display screens, including a 10.25-inch central screen and a 12.3-inch driver’s instrument panel. The Hornet’s many other cabin features are a Harman Kardon sound system, a push-button starter, keyless entry, wireless smart device connectivity, a power liftgate, and UConnect5. The Hornet’s safety technologies are equally impressive. Some of them include adaptive cruise control, a driver attention alert, a lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot monitor, traffic sign recognition, and automatic emergency braking.

On the exterior, the 2023 Hornet shows off aggressive, sleek styling from end to end. This is brought to life by the smoothly sculpted side panels and bold nose design. The tall roof descends flatly while the nose is flawlessly rounded. The narrow LED headlights are centrally linked by a black accent bar. Below the bar, the robust grille design is accompanied by side air vents for an added touch of power.
