 What's New for the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland?

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has maintained its strong appeal for SUV shoppers in Dickson and beyond, thanks to its solid capabilities and premium features. In 2023, Jeep introduces a few updates in select trim levels to take the Grand Cherokee’s appeal to the next level. This year’s trim levels are the Laredo, the Limited, the Trailhawk, the Overland, and the Summit. One of the trims that have benefited most significantly from recent updates is the Overland. What can you expect from the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland?

The primary updates to the Grand Cherokee Overland are found inside the cabin. The dashboard has been refreshed with a new 10.1-inch touch display screen. This trim also now comes with an optional McIntosh sound system with 19 speakers. Other standard cabin features in the Overland are the same. These features are leather upholstery, a navigation system, ambient cabin lighting, a panoramic sunroof, an auto-dimming rear mirror, a rear seat entertainment center, second-row sunshades, a wireless charging pad, smart device app connections, a surround-view camera and great selection of other features.

The Overland receives its power from a 3.6-liter V6 engine, generating 293 horsepower. Two other powertrains are available as upgrades. These include a 5.7-liter, V8, 357-horsepower gas engine and a plug-in hybrid 2.0-liter, four-cylinder system that offers 375 horsepower. The Grand Cherokee Overland’s performance is also boosted by a two-speed transfer case, hill descent control with available four-wheel drive, and an adaptive air suspension system.

The Grand Cherokee Overland’s exterior is confidently styled with squared-off design elements. These are on display through the nose shape, the expansive grille, the LED headlights, and the wheel wells. The Overland comes with 20-inch wheels, front tow hooks, a hands-free liftgate, a sunroof, and auto-dimming side mirrors.
