All-Electric Jeep Coming in 2023 & Dodge Plug-In Hybrid Set for Next Year

Jeep Wrangler Magneto Concept & Dodge Hornet

The electrification of the auto industry is well underway, and one company is leading the charge. Stellantis NV is the parent company of both Jeep and Dodge, and it has spearheaded bold projects to introduce all-new and updated models to its EV lineup. In fact, Jeep’s first-ever EV will be available in early 2023, and Dodge will also have a PHEV available in the 2023 model year. These updates to the lineup only touch the surface of what is in store in the coming years. In fact, Stellantis NV has allocated $35.5 billion to the development of its EV lineup by 2025. This will account for the development of 21 low-emission cars, trucks, and SUVs within that timeframe.

To date, Jeep has several plug-in hybrid vehicles offered in various locations worldwide. These include plug-in hybrid versions of the Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee. The first fully-electric Jeep that will be available is based off of the Wrangler Magneto concept vehicle.

Additionally, there will be a new plug-in hybrid Dodge vehicle available. In addition to a gas-powered version of the new SUV, the brand will also be releasing a Dodge Hornet Plug-In Hybrid. This attractive compact SUV will help expand the lineup's fuel-efficient options to attract more drivers.

You can see that the Stellantis NV brands' lineups are in for major changes in the years to come. Details about the latest electrified models that will be released by Dodge and Jeep are still rolling in.
